It does all the stuff most people need and includes footswitches so you don't need the rack unit plus a controller to gig with it. Personally, I think the FM9 is the one you want. No built in expression of any kind but of course can receive expression pedals. So it's got all the stuff, we don't need to tell you how great Fractal gear is. The FM9 has 9 switches and looks like the one to get if you don't want/can't afford the Axe FX3 The FM3 came out last year and has 3 footswitches so it was often compared to the HX Stomp.
